About the Friends
The Friends are a registered Charity consisting of like-minded people who love the Park and wish to see it presented and improved for the enjoyment of generations to come.

To this end the Friends work in conjunction with the owners and Park management to encourage the Park's use and development and to raise funds for special projects. Regular events are held including guided tours, talks, and outings to other parks and places of interest. A variety of fund raising events are held which all Friends are welcome to attend, or assist with. A journal is published three times a year which members receive free of charge.

The Friends open their Lodge close to the Orangery on Saturdays,Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays from April to October to raise funds and attract new members. The Lodge is staffed by volunteers from the Friends.

Membership of the Friends entitles you to free entry to Mount Edgcumbe House and The Earl's garden when the House is open. Members of the Friends may also purchase parking tickets on an annual basis at reduced rates.
