A Walk on Plymouth Breakwater
Another opportunity to land on the breakwater on an officially approved visit.
The objective of this trip is to give those participating the unique opportunity to actually set foot on the Plymouth Breakwater. The boat will leave Cremyll quay at 10.30 am and travel direct to the Breakwater where there will be time for a 1hour stroll along this massive sea defence. After everyone is back on board it is intended to cruise up the Yealm estuary and in the local area returning to Cremyll at 2.30pm. For general interest there will be a commentary on the history etc. of the Breakwater. The date and timing of this trip has been scheduled to coincide with the appropriate state of the tide nevertheless it will be weather dependent. If by any chance the weather is unfavourable for a landing it is intended to cruise locally
