A traditional ‘Music in the Park’ in the English Garden of Mt.Edgcumbe Country Park with a programme of popular music provided by the Plymouth Concert Band Last years event had a collection in meory of the late Derek Amphlett who, as well as being a member of the FoMECP and Millbrook’s town crier, was also a member of the Concert Band. This years event is being organised by St Lukes's Hospice to raise funds for their charity |

Vintage Car Rally 3rd August

The annual Vintage Car Rally run by the friends is one of the major events on the Rame Peninsula. The proceeds are shared between the friends and the
Mount Edgcumbe / Cornwall Hospice.
Each year several thousand pounds is raised for this very worthy cause, as well as traffic being brought to a standstill on much of the peninsular. In 2008 the rally will be held on August 3rd.
